GE Healthcare is a very process driven company and it gives you enormous opportunity to sharpen your skill set, though company has lot of pressure on numbers but still working in GE is like life time opportunity and i advise that given a chance one should definitely work in GE once in their career.

GE has to really work on the employee growth path as they lack in hierarchy having said that GE also needs to work on the overall skill building programs for all of the employees it should not be restricted to few of them

Entire organisation has a best culture, right from senior leadership to anyone and everyone in the organisation adheres to servant leadership and this brings the sense of ownership, empathy and belonging to the organisation.

The culture of the company is something which stands out for me. Open door policy, flexibility for the genuine cases, people-centric HR policies, no micro-management from the leaders, empowering someone to take the key decisions are some of the aspects which I like about this organization.

Dislikes

The compensation is not best-in-class as per the IT industry. The long-term onsite opportunities are not there too. So if someone is looking for some of these aspects, then it might not be the right place for him/her.

Micromanagement, focused only on documentation. Too many politics, Program managers just makes ur life hell. They dont understand technical but still act they are the best technical ppl in the world. Hopeless culture, no worklife balance. Product managers dont have a clarity on product road map, they expect one person from offshore should every thing including design, UI/UX, Architecture, Development & even define product road map.
