Free food makes it easier for people living away from family
Extremely toxic. I couldn't go to sleep in peace thinking next day i have to go to office and deal with those people, the slack notification dingle gives me anxiety. This is not product based company this is a service company for motabhai. They even changed notice period to 90 days. All managers and sde3s are incompetent, have no management skills or experience as these people are just promoted to lead role because they've been in the company for too long or they're upper managements favorite. Work life balance and mental physical wellbeing is a joke here. If you decide to give up sleep and only work 24x7 you will become your managers favorite employee and your example will be given to others saying this is how ideal employee looks like. Sde3s and ems do absolutely nothing, attend three meetings a day and make s*hit ton of money. If you are your managers childhood friend or favorite in general then you can get away with absolutely no work else you will have to work till death to get appraisal....Read More

Random priority work on weekends, policies changing overnight, notice period changed suddenly to 3months, 0 job security, heartless upper management, worst decision making, no vision, puppet of reliance, no appraisals, nepotism and favouritism is a common practice here, illiterate HRs, biasness in hiring. Hence one of the founder exited the company. Lunch and breakfast stopped which they bragged about in the job description as well. No apology from founder for not giving appraisal instead hrs conveyed that message using chatgpt. DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY. This company might pay a little extra from the industry but it's a trap. There is good learning opportunity as there's a good tech stack and smaller teams, so there are diverse learning options.
The senior management, the culture. Delivery is more important here than Quality. The code quality is bad. Also the review and appraisal process is unjust, compensation is not upto market standards.

There is a lot of learning, you will have access to one of the best and most updated stack, working hours are flexible, access to Mac, people around you would have good understanding of their tech stacks.
Very bad management culture, micromanagement is many teams, some managers would call you even late nights and ask you to fix bugs, too much internal politics, appraisals used to be good but suck now, asked to come to office when the work can easily be done without WFO even when managers are not from your region, most managers preferb@#t-licking, you would be asked to work overtime a lot of times in the name of 10x productivity, people success team just sits around all day long and engineers are put into PIP....Read More

1. Take fine from people, if people misses any meetings or task deadlines (even though you could be blocked because of other teams microservices). 2. Can apply lockdown at any time, lockdown in this context is 7 days working per week, everyday is around 10-12 hours working. And there's no end of lockdown until Tech Lead starts feeling happy . 3. If you see Labour Laws of India then lockdown is in clear violation of it. but nobody can touch Fynd, because Reliance owns majority share in it. And lockdown is not 1-2 time scenarios, it's something that happens to every team in 4-5 months and have to go through with it. 4. Don't give work from home. 5. No Flexible Timings, instead hard timings of 10-12 hours, if leave early, would be made feel guilty. 6. Will give you continuous threats about Appraisals when time of them is coming. 7. Doesn't like to give appraisals. 8. Tech team and Product team is not aligned. 9. Half of the code you work upon will never see the Production. But the business team will give hard deadlines to finish it, and then suddenly they don't require it. 10. Never do documentation of products or requirements, but when things gets messed up, blame the development team. 11.To get the ISO certification, Fynd organises presentation and then a quiz after that, and gives answers of that quiz in the same meeting. Only the people giving presentation knows the importance, other than that , nobody cares. Not even 10% employees knows The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2023. Again, Nobody can touch Fynd because Reliance owns it. 12. Tech teams use JIRA tickets, but if product lead wants to , he won't follow JIRA tickets. He'll just put the requirements in some document, and send you the document, reason he doesn't do documentation properly is when the product have missed cases on production, then it's your word against his. And, current stats says he'll win always. 13. Fynd is a new company, but it already has nepotism, lot of times you meet people who are brothers and sisters , or some relatives to the Leadership team. And you can't say anything against them in meetings. 14. But working in Fynd is quite easy, you should always remember that it's a business deal, they give u money, and you work for them, and that's it. Always make a boundary between personal and professional lives, or Fynd will ruin your personal lives. 15. Even though Reliance owns majority share in it, they never care enough do the management. 16. Tech CEO is an aspirational person, but he don't do management, that's why he gets fooled. He got WSR (Weekly Status Reports) every month or so, and put dates and numbers in it, and 90% of them are just lies. He should do surprise checks on these features and he'll know. 17. The business give fake promises and deadlines to their customers and their CMO too without discussing with anyone, and then dump the whole scenario on the Tech Team. And this happens for almost every requirements. 18. At anytime, they can put the employees on PIP in very large numbers, so they could reduce the layoff count and hide it from the Public....Read More

Noone knows their name's in market. They were about close their shutter in 2018 but cause of Ambaniacquisition they were surviving to till now rest god knows. 4.They can force you to relocate to Mumbai anytime without knowing your current situation. 5.
