1. Worst work culture. 2. Lot of partiality, they have office in Bangalore for name sake. 80% to 90% Promotions will be for Noida people. Only 10% - 20% from Bangalore. Even though candidates are worthy they still promote Noida Employees rather than promoting Bangalore Candidates. Most of the leadership sits in Noida. 3. For communication they mostly use Hindi then secondary would be English. Even it 10 or 200 members connect/forum, they still discuss in Hindi. They don’t bother that you understand or not 4. HR are also for Name sake, if you complain on any of higher management they will discuss internally with them and target that person and also HRs are very Hard to reach. 5. Micro Management 6. You will fed up with filling more than 3 timesheets every single day. 7. There are no procedures for any thing, etc.. my list will go on. But this is more than enough. If you are lucky enough to be part of the right team, you'll have good work life balance and a good team culture where you'll at least not be absolutely terrified of Mondays and drag through your week for the weekend. The leave policy was good while I was working at EYGBS. My team and team culture was devoid of toxic politics and I had the opportunity to decide what I want to do.

EY GBS job descriptions are basically shopping wish lists. Once you enter the role you'll figure nobody actually has a single skill mentioned in the JD also, the actual job is far from what the initial expectation was. The hiring process is a nightmare, salary is miniscule, almost every function has absolute chernobyl level toxicity, leaders favour their own people. Talent is colluded with head hunters for hiring and you'll get zero results on applying directly to career page. I was a part of an internal support team and had access to data and people from various functions in EY GBS. Employee engagement. Their employee satisfaction reviews seems fake and manipulative, mostly. The Partner won’t let you spend the budget to your team member and it’s their tendency to put themselves in limelight that he is the sole owner of your life. He will preach all the good things like engage with your team and all but you cannot buy lunch even if you have budget and then they will have this spent in last month are utilise for their travelling giving the name of business meet Office Politics (I would say it is everywhere but it’s pre dominant if you are based out other location and your Boss belongs to especially from Kerala location though they won’t agree but they are real RACIST and staunch supporter of favouritism....Read More

I don't like the so much dirty politics of manager sitting on senior manager position. They are so pathetic never encouraged, appreciate hard working deserving employees.

I really don't like involvement of QA senior manager in year end discussion, when they don't really involve through the year any discussion with employees. They never engaged with employees just for rating discussion they are included which is really not good. I have worked with EY for approximately 5 years and felt at comfort with few managers since they were very cooperative and understanding. The company promotes culture of flexible working hours in some teams.

Dislikes

1. Undue work pressure in non busy seasons and not letting charge time 2. Huge politics during promotions and increment cycle end. 3. Mental pressure due to unrealistic deadlines. 4. Leadership misuses their power to shut down employees raising voices against malpractices. 5. EY GDS not always following global audit guidelines.

- On learning side, learn whatever you want. - Brand Name (Although internal people itself don't respect) - Big exposure to enterprise level clients (But useless, as of poor leadership and political, insecure people) - EY as a brand is the best, but internal managers and leadership is itself chewing EY's real value, as per legal rights in india no one can do job and own a business, but managers stole ideas from team then invest in idea and running businesses side by side, on other hand team who don't know anything, steal ideas from other member and get fav of their managers. Monopoly and insecurity is teams goals and achievements year by year. - Also managers showing expertise in HCI, actually sell ideas and innovation illegally to HCI, every year forcing people of team by other fav team members to join HCI conference on personal basis but working on ideas from EY's systems then submitting them too from EY systems later sell ideas from whatsapp groups teams makes....Read More
