HR policies is the worst. Hike and promotion is only for name sake. If you put your papers you will get your FnF after 3.5 months months with notice period of 2 months. There many policies like this which will hamper your growth, learning and financial planning. Also they will not pay your performance bonus even if it is written on your offer letter, as they think its bank's discretion. Don't join ESAF save your money and career. # Good for senior executives posted at the HO, with vast experience in Banking sector. There wouldn't be pressure similar to other Private Banks for Senior Executives at the HO. Those located in Thrissur, Ernakulam or Palakkad, can commute from their homes to office daily, since there is not much stretching after office hours. # Certain depts at HO, are able to maintain an atmosphere of clam. # HR Dept is not upto the mark. Feedback from employees are not addressed effectively. Infact feedback mechanism itself is inadequate or non existant. There is often long lag between interview and posting. Candidates are not aware if they are selected or not. There is very less clarity on the role that would be offered. Many employees would be aware of their posting location or job role only after they join. # Tremendous sales pressure at the Branches with minimal resources. Most branches operate with minimal staff, who has to multitask between sales and operations. # Outdated Appraisal methods. Outdated promotion process. Talent and hard work often goes unrecognized. # Work allocation is poor in many departments. You would find few people who are very much loaded with work while other's enjoy leisure time always. # Many Middle Level Managers coming through the ranks, with no experience elsewhere, have zero leadership ability. No effort is made to train such home grown staff in the nuances of Team Management. The only way such Managers deal with their team is through intimidation. Staff working under them are often demotivated. There is no effective outlet for such staff to report these mangers.
