Hikes and promotions are very very less. No growth in terms of monetary and promotions
Too much favouritism. You need to have really strong connections with the people in power to thrive. (Wink Wink! It really works if your alma matter is the same as the boss)
No recognition. No matter how hard you work, unless you have a source in the top management, nobody will recognise the efforts you put in.
Busy season is really busy! You will login at 9-10 in the morning and logout will have no determined time. On an average you will logout at 2 am next morning. It will go on for good 3-4 months
No knowledge transfer. All the senior analysts and associate managers will give you projects that are repetitive and will make sure that all the chargeable hours (extremely important to complete your utilisation criteria of 75% working hours of an year) will be utilised by them. Also, don’t expect anybody will teach you anything or will provide you with any projects (even your own counsellors) because everyone wants to complete their utilisation and will not hesitate to step over you to achieve them.
Managers, especially in VME teams are really rude and arrogant and will treat you like you don’t exist. They will try to play cheap politics with members at analyst level so that they can take out grudges against other managers....Read More
