Overall company is very employee friendly and has a lot of employee benefits at the USA level. In terms of work-culture here at Bangalore office, the work life balance and work culture largely depends on your team.

There are specific teams which are really good, however many teams here lag a proper setup and have too much work load and no work life balance. Work load is extremely high and there is no reward or recognition largely. Some Team leaders lack empathy towards overloaded employees. My tenure at LCCI stands as one of the most challenging chapters on my professional journey. Entering LCCI, I was filled with optimism, and eager to contribute and learn. Yet, from the outset, it became quite apparent that my manager's leadership style leaned heavily on control and micromanagement. Any hope of gaining insights or skills from. they quickly faded, as their insecurities overshadowed their effectiveness. Despite years in their role, they failed to provide proper guidance or support to our team, leaving us to navigate our roles in a haze of confusion. Picture the predicament of two new team members, left adrift by a manager who offered no direction or clarity. Our efforts were met with scrutiny, while our manager eagerly claimed credit for our achievements. Despite reaching out to HR for assistance, we found ourselves met with disappointment as the company's purported commitment to its employees felt like mere a facade. Further exploration revealed a culture of toxicity within LCCI, where issues were swept under the rug, and those in positions of power were shielded from accountability. It became increasingly clear that the system was rigged in favor of those at the top, with HR complicit in maintaining the status quo. Consider, for instance, the new MD's words of gratitude to us newcomers, spoken in the face of our struggles, which later proved hollow. Despite being aware of the ongoing issues within our team, the leadership chose to turn a blind eye, perpetuating the cycle of dysfunction. Our predecessors' departure due to the same problematic manager, along with their futile attempts to alert HR during their exit interview, exemplified the company's pattern of ignoring internal issues. Additionally, revelations of other problematic behavior within the top-level management further underscored the toxic environment that permeated LCCI. Shockingly, even those responsible for HR exhibited inappropriate behavior, with one individual openly making derogatory comments about women and harassing others in the office. Ultimately, the decision to leave LCCI was difficult yet a necessary one. Despite the uncertainty of the job market, prioritizing our well-being and dignity prevailed over enduring toxic leadership. Looking back, I have no regrets about leaving LCCI behind, It was a place devoid of principles and opportunities for personal and professional growth. While it may have been a dark chapter in my career, it served as a valuable lesson in recognizing and prioritizing healthy work environments. To anyone considering joining LCCI or its internal comms team, or someone within the company who is grappling with the same challenges, I offer one piece of advice: trust your instincts, prioritize your self-respect, and seek out environments that value and nurture your potential.
