Should you have expressed your intent to enhance your learning curve, we are sure that you would have taken advantage of the numerous ‘learning’ opportunities that are offered to the employees on a regular basis. We engage our employees in Professional Development programs, workshops and training courses which help in enhancing their learning curve and polish their skills. We facilitate internal team movements whenever there is a requirement and skill fit helping employees to grow professionally and to provide avenues to reach individual career goals while fulfilling the company's mission. To that end, we have a transparent appraisal and performance review process which takes place every 6 months. These are scaled-down reviews which focus on describing strengths, weaknesses and steps to take individual performance to the next level. We at Merkur Gaming India provide multiple avenues to reach individual career goals while fulfilling the company's mission which includes timely performance appraisals i.e. transparent, fair, and meaningful, advancements in terms of work, and opportunities to move up the hierarchy. Regarding "strict work timings", it is imperative to state that we acknowledge that our employees need flexibility in work schedule to balance work with other demands and responsibilities, and therefore, provide - work from home option (on an as-needed basis), adjusted work schedule (team members may want to work the standard number of hours in a workday or workweek but vary their start and end times), paid Short leave every month and even part-time schedule. Our HR team does diligently prepare and adjusts the Holiday Calendar to ensure availability of long holidays / weekends whenever possible. It’s a company-sponsored transport facility that picks and drops our employees from the nearest metro stations, should they choose to avail it. The vehicles used are company-owned and are driven by company-employed drivers. The purpose of this facility is to provide rapid, stress-free connectivity between the office and the nearest metro stations, especially during traffic-ridden office hours. It’s important for you to know that our organisation is built on two foundational pillars – equality and equity (among many others). Therefore, our appraisal and promotional policies are unbiased, and our workforce is solely rewarded on the basis of their merits and initiatives. That said, if an employee outperforms themselves and makes extraordinary contributions, the said employee deserves recognition and is rewarded appropriately.
