Working at Dell provides numerous learning opportunities and will make you habituated to work under extremely pressurized situation. Obviously one can't be in his/her comfort zone. Amazing job security if you shall perform. if at all you do not perfrom you may be under PIP or any other action plans but yes, you will be given time toimprove and show your numbers green. management is very much numbers oriented and hungry. If you aren't passionate about the job sorry this is not for you. i have literally cursed myself for the first three month for joining this process after my Training as there was no day me thinking resigning the job. however as time passed i got used to it infact started performing better and my numbers were in green. Never join this organisation. Big no. Threating and harrasment on Zoom call happens whole day. Management will harass you even during notice period. Appraisal/promotion : Once you reach to principal engineer position, promotion seems like an alien concept because 1 in around 30-40 principal engineer gets promoted to Sr principal level that too after ATLEAST after 10-12 years working as a principal engineer. Skill development/Learning : NO Scope whatsoever for new learning. Most of people who left there jobs recently were due to lack of opportunities to learn new skills and were bored/tired of working on the same things for years.
