Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

I was mentally harassed by the administrative head of the university and some guy from the Partnership team. No one will tell you what to do and suddenly you will receive a call from persons who have nothing to do with the project and will ask you about the project updates and those things which are not even related to you, unnecessary queries. They will blame you for everything that has not been done or not done well and take credit for all the things that went well. They will denigrate you in front of your team members and staff. Only fellows of the university have a hold and influence on the administrative people. You will be treated as a slave. I resigned after a month because I was not able to fight with them. LIKE ABOUT THE WAY UNIVERSITY IS ESTABLISHED UNDER DELHI GOVERNMENT.

The university is still in phase of development and they're not respecting the IT Department which is backbone of any organisation or university. Using old fashioned technique of moving files manually instead of e-office. Also the senior head of IT Mr. Pravir Chitre is himself is the most confusing and not competent officer for IT in terms of knowledge and skill but tries to oversmart and because of him IT is legging in this University and far behind. He likes to scold juniors without any mistakes or error to show his superiority so working with him was such a bad experience.
