I joined DBS in the April 2021 and have almost 1 years of working experience with DBS Bank. They have their second tech Team in Hyderabad. the first tech team works from Singapore. They have their own banking projects, and all the projects are being developed with latest technology stack. So you can get chance to learn new technolgoies and grow your career, and also You can get flexible work timing. Employee policies are good, very satisfactory policies they have. Sometimes you can feel unbalance work-life balance, but depends upon the project. only thing I dislike hike of salary, but they give you one time bonus in a year.

The organization takes really good care of its employees when it comes to incentives apart from the regular salary and also focuses on the learning and development of the employees.

Dislikes

Too much discrimination between the Singapore and Indian counterparts with no respect for indian employees. No support from management for Agile transformation with Scrum masters just working like a rubber stamp authority

The compensation and the additional benefits including the health insurance and iflex are very good when relatively compared to other similar orgs in the market.

Dislikes

The management doesn't have any vision on the future of the employees. There very few leaders in the organisation who really drive their teams towards bigger goals and ambitions. Most of the management are just order takers from their bosses and expect the same from their reportees aswell. All crucial decisions are driven from Singapore and the offshore management doesn't have much say in those aspects. Only Compensation given is good and associated facilities. However, that can also be viewed as a trap to hire at higher remuneration leaving less outside options and scope of negotiation to explore in case one wants to switch.

Dislikes

No demonstration of leave aside leadership capabilities but even management capabilities at India centre. All the actions are driven by decisions taken at Singapore Hub. No addressing of employee concerns with regards to Task deadlines or Role mismatch, even if you raise it with the HR.
