One of the worst organisations I've ever worked with, so much micro-management and zero professionalism. My manager literally tortured me mentally,abusive and disrespectful and if you go to HR for escalation and help. They also don't listen.

There’s nothing to like. Director and senior manager are politicians not company employees. They played very dirty politics. Don’t join cvent

Senior manager and director both are toxic. Don’t join analytics team. I got panic attack several times, start taking sleeping medicenes, anexity. worst phase my life is joining cvent.

The management is absolutely incompetent and unprofessional. People with no talent and skills keep on getting opportunities because they mingle with the managers wherein people with skills are not given a chance. The director and managers have no idea what they are doing and lack basic professional skills.

I used to like the culture and work life balance but since Blackstone acquired it's a living hell.

Dislikes

The work politics are just too bad to survive. The management is sick and does not want someone to grow. The average appraisals after 2 years into the company are below 5% and there's no learning or development happening. The perks are just a pizza in 3-4 months and food that they provide is so bad that even the pigs won't like to eat that.

There is office politics in thr Middle management, which sours the experience. Anyone who is willing to snitch on other team members is given priority for promotions and performance data is manipulated to achieve that.

Appraisals have gone down and they have reduced their budgets after Blackstone took over. I is still not a big red flag as they give peace of mind and job security with it.
