Good Organization to work for at a short term period of time. Management level is good at connecting with the employees across the teams and locations, They really like to hear about your feedback on the work culture and organizational improvements. Fast Paced Work Culture - really had to work hard and extend hours of time to meet deadlines. Company policies are limited unlike other service based companies. You will get a permanent job assurance if you can endure the pressure and wish to continue at long term, very rare or no firing scenarios. Too many training sessions and meetings in addition to the daily work assignments - you had to extend really hard to meet the deadlines. 80% of the work is handled at offshore, it could be better if it was brought to 50-50% / 60-40% offshore and onsite ratio to maintain work-life balance. Most of the managers migrated from Service based companies hardly understand the issues - as, it is a product based company there will be lot of challenges with the hardware/network/connectivity, test setup etc., Had to visit office frequently to carry out daily activities during covid-19, as we can't take devices home. No option / very rarely get devices home. Aggressive releases with new features and patches ,you really have to keep doing the same stuff/job for a long time - repetitive work. Management focus is on numbers, metrics, reports, team performance irrespective of the test setup challenges and issues. Mental pressure to bring up innovative ideas as if we have a very leisure time - innovation decides your performance at the end not the on-time work deliverables and quality. As the work is repetitive - career growth is limited. No work life balance - strive to complete the tasks on time in addition to other unnecessary activities as mentioned above, like too many meetings, team connects, test setup issues etc., 0% Chance of Onsite opportunities, keep struggling at offshore with test setup issues. Compensation is average - Depends on years of experience x 2, which is similar to Service based companies.
