It has the worst salary structure. If you are a senior employee with extensive work experience, you get paid less. if you joined after 2022, you may be paid more than senior employees in a junior position. there is also no market adjustment policy here. You receive promotions, salary increase and market adjustment only if you are favoured by your manager.

Depending on the team from the US you are associated with, you'll have a good time working here. The office itself looks good inside.

Dislikes

The mindset is to run it like an outsourcing arm of Comcast. The management here has zero realization of the reality of workplace flexibility, collaboration, globally distributed teams etc. They run shifts for engineers, an environment that was the norm twenty years ago. There is no empathy and they don't listen to feedback on anything, unless it's positive feedback that massages their egos.

Comcast has multiple companies inside of them. I worked for company they have it in The UK The problem is that you will work in India with the team following the US work policies and forcing us to follow the UK work culture and ethics If you want to learn from working. i wont recommend the company. Low hike percentages and the have over hired. They cannot maintain the strength probably they may see a recession or attrition The main aim of the company is reduce the cost by hiring in India. Most of the good work are taken care by people in US and UK .the company here in India is merely support activity Mostly HR and TA team wont respond properly. Though you can see them daily. Limited learning tools for Employees Promotions are given only to people who are closer to the manager and management and who does management work(people will be in low are middle level engineers) I saw higher management people getting double promoted withing 2 years but at the bottom promotion is just dream On the whole its a place for people who want to settle and not grow. You will see more interns and level 1 engineers more. To much micro management, the company insist to be in office for 12 days just so that they can save taxes. You would see many engineers and at times people at leader level playing table tennis or have closed chat groups or closed group smoke outings even throughout the day. So one can say may be laid back to an extent than say better work-life balance. Sometimes its less work for many groups that are close to the management / leadership

Merit does not mean you grow or get promoted. One can not look for recognition at leadership level, if you are not your manager's jalra. Visibly significant promotions or leadership level growth beyond the initial seed team are all from 'white belt' group - you know which caste group I refer here. You may see few other groups but they are really blind jalras for leadership. You are a fool if you expect a feedback for your growth during reviews, the best you get could be strategic silence or blabbering or cajoling. Leaders at VP level even are at their best administrative czars unable to provide a proper performance feedback - so you are kept confused. Either low comm & people skills or look dumb to avoid being confronted.
