The company culture is so terrible that prepares you mentally for the worst situations in your life.

Dislikes

Forced to work 12 hours a day and getting paid 50% less than the promised salary is most disliked part. You are never treated as an employee but treated as a slave. I would strictly advice the fellow readers to refrain from joining this organisation.

This is a long list and I hope you buckle your seat belt for this one. 1. All the existing employees think they are extremely smart and masters of the universe. Especially the CTO (current COO of the company), he thinks everybody else is the problem (or as he puts it, human problems) except for him. He has a penchant for shutting down companies because of his "incredible leadership skills" and Cogoport will be his next crown jewel. 2. Do you want your full salary to be paid on a regular basis? If the answer is hell naww, then Cogoport is hell yeah! They will deduct your salary on a monthly ratings basis which you will receive based on whether manager likes you or not (although they keep saying it's objective). A rating of <3 will get you 20% salary cut in the 1st month, 50% cut in 2nd and 75% in 3rd. Now isn't that goddamn wonderful? Also, you will get your salary in the middle of the month, and not like noob companies paying in the first week itself. 3. Top management has zero empathy, respect and courtesy towards employees and you will be made to feel like an idiot even after graduating from a Tier 1 college in India. So if you like to be insulted, Cogoport is your destination. 4. High work pressure is fine, but there is unnecessary pressure beyond that. The CTO checks working hours of every employee and points it out in front of everyone to ridicule you. According to him, productivity is directly proportional to working hours, and the more you stay in office even if you do nothing, the better worker you are. The CTO will randomly call you at his whim and fancy and insult you in front of everyone (sometimes behind your back). 5. Do you aspire to go to jail? Then Cogoport is your ideal workplace! You won't be allowed to leave the premises before the stipulated time of 6:30pm. You can't even leave your floor at designated times of the day and have to please the security guard in order to earn that right to movement. 6. If you don't want to do anything in your life and still earn money, being an HR rep at Cogoport is the way to go. You have no power, no responsibility, no decision making headache. Everything is dictated by the honourable CEO and COO, and HR just parrots it back to you, most of the time leaving huge space for ambiguity which results in confusion and frustration. 7. Why work peacefully and create a safe space for creativity to flourish when you can always feel threatened with being laid off for no damn reason. And then you WILL be laid off for a made up reason (could range from lower than average working hours even if it's beyond the manadated hours, or poor performance, or disinterest, or taking "too many" leaves), depending on whatever can be used against you. 8. Oh and do you want the company to invest in hardware like laptops? That ain't happening, suqqa! With Cogoport's "robust" BYOD policy, you can bring your own device, or be fooled to buy a high end MacBook from the company's vendor and be reimbursed just 75% of the amount of a basic model, in 24 MONTHS! 1. Toxic work culture 2. Spoiled careers of 25 IITians...They changed the offers ( mine is changed from 17lpa to 7lpa, which is almost 60% reduction) 3. From that 7lpa too.. there are deductions based on KPIs 4. Team leads warns team members to get good KPIs as their KPIs depend on us 5. They hire and fire on daily basis ( they havea specified team for hiring and the same for firing) 6. They ask employees to write reviews on Glassdoor, AmbitionBox and they offer a cheap amount as bribe 7. Not even a single employee benefit 8. Alternate Saturdays are working days 9. The company might shut down in a year or so 10. 9 hours strict working hours, an employee can't leave the campus during his/her 9 hour shift 11. An employee is not allowed outside, even to collect food orders from Zomato and swiggy ( they should collect them as if they are in jail, by not crossing the gates, if an employee crosses the gate security guards take them and submit the employee to their managers)...Read More

You will get to learn more as there is nobody to guide you and if you stick to learning you will get expert in just six months.

Dislikes

No work life balance No proper management and planning of project, departments so the company is in loss as I must say. Otherwise they have excellent software and platform and they can master in industry.
