Extremely Unprofessional Work Environment, Poor Leadership.
My experience has been overwhelmingly negative. The work culture is toxic, and internal politics dominate the environment. It's disheartening to see that advancement is often based on favoritism and who can "butter up" the managers rather than merit or performance.
Cash application manager (Rajan) the worst manager I have ever seen. doesn't even know how to manage the team. During the hiring process, he seems to prioritize selecting people who flatter him and those who are less capable than him. He consistently misguides both the management and the team members, creating confusion and chaos. Worse, he tries to control employees' personal lives, constantly interfering in matters that are none of his concern, and later shows a grudge in professional dealings because of it. He should learn to respect the individual personal space. He always wants to interfere in personal matters like an idiotic person. His team only develops only once he got terminated or removed from his manager position but unfortunately even management supports him because of he butter up them like no others do. I could say, he is the worst manager in overall clean Harbors and no other will match with him.
Moreover, the managers here act like they own the company, but the fact is, they are just managers after all. Leadership has been a major disappointment, with a focus on praise and superficial flattery rather than addressing the real issues the teams face. Constructive feedback is often ignored, and there is little to no room for growth unless you're willing to play into these office politics.
This company will only change if the board of directors or higher management step in, conduct a thorough analysis, and filter out all these problematic individuals. Removing them from their positions is the only way the company can improve and move forward.
Furthermore, decision-making is erratic, communication is poor, and the lack of transparency is glaring. Employees are left frustrated with minimal support or recognition for their hard work. Apart from a big organisation since so many years and they are increasing in size. Office is good and its continuously growing.
Dislikes
Dictatorship at Pune office by the Director. Even the HR decides as per him, so called HR. Does not do anything on complaints. Policy and rules changes as per the director along with KPI. Threatns for job security and incentives. Politics and criticism is at the highest level. Last minute work are given as if its required immediately and then extension of shift. Few managers are hired who does not know anything, not even basics but are called as managers, its just talks.
