One of the worst universities. The work culture is toxic. Too much politics. Higher authorities too self obsessed. They lack the vision. People are hired and fired on the whims and fancies. There is no job security. A day prior the chancellor will be all praise for you and the next day you will be told to leave the organisation. The HR head is into politics and is always trying to grab the power in all the departments. The departmental heads also are afraid of the HR head and go all out to please him. The HR head himself is having an affair with a former acting HOD of one of the departments. That lady is now working in the examination department after her colleagues refused to work with her. The work culture is very toxic and even those in position of authority are made to feel small and unworthy. They do not do due diligence while hiring the staff and later they simply fire people....Read More

Nothing. The employee who are writing "professional work culture, etc." in their reviews, the understanding of professionalism might be something different for them. It's a place with a highly unprofessional work culture. All local gundagardi.

It is a highly local place with a local work culture. Zero diversity. Only focus on getting rankings and admissions. Highly biased towards skilled people from outside of the Punjab region. It's all Gunda raaj. No voice for outside people. You feel lonely and unsafe all the time. Zero job security. They are FRAUD. Will lure you with FAKE JD by citing importance of designation but from day one you will feel cheated as the management, OWNER himself will involve you in their personal motives. Owner is working for a political party and irrespective of your domain experience, they will drag you in their personal work, not mentioned in JD and discussed during interview. And you will find yourself going no where. Every day your goal post will be changed. And when you will talk about this they will say it’s temporary. You will not be able to function as the work will not be your cup of tea. And before probation period is over you will be asked to part ways. In 2-3 months of time I witnessed changing 3-4 executive directors in marketing, 2-3 vice chancellors and 7-8 people have come and left on my designation. And now they are again searching another person for the position. Infact the HR head, who handled my joining, himself left soon after me. Teaching faculties i interacted with were working in exploited terms and most of them were being used for political campaigns and involved in personal works forcefully. So BEWARE.
