It's easy to criticize consumer internet startups in India
I came across a news piece where Zepto CEO Aadit Palicha replied to people who criticize consumer internet startups. He shared an important point, companies like Zepto, Blinkit, and Swiggy have created 15 lakh jobs.
I thought we often associate innovation strictly with core tech breakthroughs. But in a country like India, where job creation and accessibility are just as important, scaling a business model that supports lakhs of livelihoods is innovation.
