Blinkit’s 10-Minute Delivery: A Threat to Road Safety?
A recent video from Bengaluru is stirring debate online. A Blinkit delivery agent was caught riding his bike on a footpath, allegedly due to the pressure of meeting the 10-minute delivery promise.
🔹 Blinkit responded, apologizing and stating that they do not condone traffic violations and have alerted their store partner.
🔹 Bengaluru City Police acknowledged the post and urged citizens to report such incidents via online portal
⚡This is how they fulfill the 10-minute delivery promise.
⚡ A few years ago, there were no delivery agents. Today, people demand food instantly, putting immense pressure on these workers and the road is filled with delivery bikes and scooters
Is instant delivery culture making our roads unsafe? Should companies rethink their promises? 🤔

What’s going on with quick commerce? 🤦♂️
Now these 10-minute delivery apps are saying they can deliver a smart TV. Seriously?
Quick commerce was made for impulse buys...groceries, snacks, small stuff. Not a ₹30,000 TV.
TVs need research, reviews, and comparisons, not a countdown. Urgency doesn’t work here...trust does.
And what if it arrives damaged? Who’s handling returns if everything’s rushed? Installation delays make it pointless.
These apps work for small, quick items, not bulky, fragile stuff like TVs. Trying to stretch that model feels like an identity crisis.
If they think TVs and washing machines are their future, they’re missing the plot. Speed doesn’t build trust.
Would YOU buy a ₹30,000 TV from an app that delivers Maggi in 10 minutes? What am I missing here? Blinkit
