Being strategic PSU in telecom sector which serves rural population of india with service motive and not with profit. Also, BSNL is the only telecom organisations which serves the people in difficult times like flood, earthquake, cyclones, etc.,

Dislikes

Govt. of India is not supporting BSNL though its own company due to obvious reasons, not allowed to expand in needy times, not supporting financially for its survival and not even allowed to take loan from banks for its developement though BSNL is having lakhs and crores worth of assests.

Work Details

I am basically civil engineer in BSNL, for creating and maintaining the infrastructure of BSNL, such as buildings (admin. buildings, telephone exchanges, staff quarters, community halls etc.,), towers and other infrastructure specific for telecom needs

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Flexible Timings)

Dislikes

The Government rules & regulation sometimes has put me under some restriction. The recent financial crisis has also slackened the infrastructural work which was a cause of worry. But Company as a whole nothing specific to dislike.
