Likes

BSNL is an excellent place to work. Operations are on large scale which give me exposure to financial activities involving high stakes. Teammates and colleagues are young and well qualified from Finance/commerce and Engineering streams. Got good work-life balance. Regular interactions with highly esteemed vendors like TCS, Wipro, HP, Amdocs etc gave me huge confidence.

Dislikes

Some old staff members from period of DoT have a negative bearing on work environment, but their experience generally proves helpful for the company.

Work Details

Handled GST, Finance & Accounts, Billing, Revenue Accounting, Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management, generation of MIS reports for entire North Zone.

Work days: Alternate Saturday off (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)
