The workplace culture is dominated by favouritism, backstabbing, upper management is far more concerned with office politics than actual fostering a positive work environment. Decisions making is often based on who you know rather than your qualifications or hard work. Those who are seen as in the right circle get opportunities and promotions regardless of merit. The lack of transparency and the manipulation behind closed doors creates a toxic atmosphere where employees are pitted against each other.
