I've had the best years of my career at Ather. Work is well organized and the people are good. There's a healthy working environment., where things move at a fast pace, yet you don't feel the pressure. People are easy to work with.

It's overall a mix experience compared to other startup or even established companies Ather is lightyear ahead in work culture and job security.

Work life balance is a factor that can be worked upon but still I'll rate it as 7 out of 10 as compared to other Indian companies.

What I disliked about the company was the favoritism in assignment allocation, where interesting projects often went to the right connections or who made the most noise (even if the noise does not make any sense). The supposed spirit of collaboration was absent, with many focusing on self-promotion rather than developing ideas. Performance reviews were flawed, heavily influenced by managerial opinions, regardless of their understanding of key architectural decisions, and there were no opportunities for skip-level manager meetings.
