In AMRITA, Working culture is too good and faculty policy has been introduced recently that really improve the effective teaching learning process. Management is really concerned about faculty members. It seems good environment every where inside campus.

Fine. There are few things really uncomfortable to us. First one is, Pay scale is not up to central Institutes like NIT and IITs (But expecting to work on par with national institutes). Even our management didn't impose 7th Pay Scale. Second one is, regarding promotion, its only biased not on the basis of performance and eligibility</mark>. Location is good and staffs are very nice

Dislikes

Management is not ready to give increment and promotion.Politics is very high in top level so don't expect any support from management.Experiment facilities are very poor.No value for teaching,they need more number of publications rather than its quality.
