Colleagues and faculty members are very cooperative. Increament are late and no transperancy is maintained in evaluation. University management and administration is not very robust in promoting best practices. Faculties are being utilised and work load exceeds to the on paper description of weekly teaching hour. Although the leave system is well formulated with CL, SL and ELs along with flexy puch in and out and grace period. Infrastructure and facilities are good and salary is always on time that's deserve big appreciation. Students are average. No comp off in lieu of working Saturdays and stress in more on Scopus papers publishers and funded projects....Read More

Hr having no policies.Everything will be approved from head office but hr not forwarded the case which are helpful in the growth of employees.

The vision of the honourable Founder President. Something that really made me proud to be a part of the organisation. A few colleagues and timely salary, two days off, being among young minds

There's nothing much to like in this place. A lot of pomp and show outside but it's all a facade. A lot of politics,general negative environment, gossip culture, groupism and zero professionalism. HR is only interested in hiring and placing people in this campus but is not interested in the well being of the employees.You are as good as a piece of furniture here who is expected to perform miracles with no facilities.The maintenance is zero, poorly lit corridors, malfunctioning lifts, no funding for anything, zero policies for women's or students safety,gender based bias and harassment is common from male senior colleagues as no background checks are done before hiring. A few incompetent people have been working here for years and are highly insecure try all kinds of cheap tactics to push out the competent ones from the University.The higher authorities at the Kolkata campus are too occupied in favouring their own people and playing safe to actually think about the wellbeing of the employees or people without bias. People do not encourage or cheer for each other here so the whole environment is toxic and backward.The appraisals and increments are irregular and unpredictable, the management is in some kind of delusion that they are doing reall well or simply have given up as this campus is beyond repair. HR is not helpful at all, they make one person work in different departments and the salary is very low, she doesn't get good appraisal. People who are liked, like those who fill the ears, get a huge salary increase.

Good work life balance. The honorable founder president and his vision.

Dislikes

Flattering culture which promotes many useless people to reach heights and who decide the policy of university. The people on the top have no idea on what happens on ground. Incentive system is favored if you are good at flattery. If you see positive comments here when it comes to good incentive system etc. etc., then understand, it would be from that specific circle. Unpredictable leadership.

There is no culture as such except petty politics and gossip. No scope for growth and no peace of mind.Poor management and lack of basic facilities like poper lifts, labs etc. The higher authorities are just dummies. There are no proper security for women and no training or upgradation of the staff as to how to behave in a professional environment. The bar is very low and they only talk about values in orientation and meetings but they uphold none.They are only concerned about getting more admissions and projects and fundings etc. VIP culture reigns supreme and important matters are overlooked. Everything is excellent, working conditions, working culture, salary is good. Amity is the best place for all over growth of a person. I always proud on me that I was the part of this Esteemed University.

Free hand working not there because all events all MOUs has been approved or finalized by Headquarter Noida Increment policies are worsted because they increased salary when they think fit and Brand Amity is suffering because of all this and HR policies inspires people to leave this Esteemed University

Biased appraisals by President /VC, PVC holds mutiple caps to estb his dominance because of this people more efficient dont get chance, In crux , senior officials are insecured due to which eligible candidates are not promoted. Adm. People have their own style of working.
