Though it's a brand in Business travel, you are always dependent upon the analysis and the purview ( i would not say mercy ) of your immediate hierarchy no matter how much and how best you perform. Preferences and recommendations hinder the transparency in the work and progress of deserving candidates. Suggestions and feedback are not wanted nor appreciated until it's saving a lot from adverse situations<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. Chances for internal promotion depend on how good you are with your manager</mark>. Senior management can give feedback to lower in the hierarchy but no mechanism for vice versa. HR is just for first-line employees and does not act or get involved in internal/ team matters. Individual prevents approaching HR based on experiences with fellow employees. They act on the instructions of senior hierarchy and not as per company values. No constructive training was provided. Tools do not match up with the requirement of the workflow. Team bonding depends on which team you work with. It's a good company to work with but at last, depends on how good you are with the management/manager. Suggestion to new hires: Set deadlines for growth. Move on if you feel stagnant. You have to learn yourself. Do not expect mentoring. Work as per the rule book of the company and do not obey blindly instructions no matter your upper hierarchy. Do not expect salary hikes much once you are in, so negotiate on initial hiring. Compensation is not so great, no sign of salary raise. Annual review is just part of company policies, no raise even during promotion. Designation doesn't matters, travel Counselor or senior or lead everyone has same duties, growing opportunities are less.
