I heared that amdocs is good company. So had oppurtinity to give an interview. It was very smooth process during all interview rounds. Even I cleared the interview.

Dislikes

The major and important thing about Amdocs is after clearing interview they started with my documentations but I haven't received an offer letter yet and very surprised its been an around 3 months now I haven't received any update and even no offer letter.

Work life balaance is avarage. If you are lucky, then you will get good seniors.

Lots of politics is present inside. You can see the favoritism. If you have not started your career with the company then they don't consider you as a loyal employee of the company(After two years my manager says that you are new here). They arrange one-to-one meetings, in meeting they discuss nonsense things also pramoted layof tourcher. Lot of micro management. No perks whatsoever in terms of professional growth. They give only dry promotion in the name of career advancement. Could be that the hierarchy I have been in was the worst. No Job security. They put anyone in PMP or directly lay off them even ur on project and billable. Ur survival in the company depends on if they like you or not. There is not much to like while working at Amdocs. The facilities they are provided are good like gym, fruits, cabs etc....

The job security is the worst part. I had joined Amdocs as a fresher and had just worked on a project for seven months and I was laid off without my performance review and the worst part is there is alot biasing based on where your native is .

Back office (BC) - GL and TL rude behaviour. Toxic environment. GL force to work 10 to 15 hrs. GL and TL not listening employee issue. They set work target for new employee or experience same. For new joinner GL want to train any process within 1 month and start working 2nd month with 100% efficiency and 3rd month you need to worklike 4-5 experience with 150% or 200% efficiency. Very open work culture, suitable for learning. Open for internal opportunities. Flexible timing and unlimited vacation policy is something that is really unique.

Dislikes

Not that i can think of anything but there is always scope for improvement. Personal Opinion: Top layer management is not mostly comfortable delegating core R&R to Indian employees. Sometimes it can be taken as unconscious Bias.

Salary hike and bonus are only applicable for favourite employee. Good employee will only get work pressure. Managers are running this company as their baaps company. They are thinking like they are god. Overall its a very bad company to work.

Even no work culture. Everyone think amdocs mean work life balance . I don't think there is work for Everyone and whoever is working he is working 24*7 and some who don't have work they are enjoying 24*7 . They says Hybrid working but belive me it depends on managers if they want you have to attend office all 7 days including your sat/sun

Company culture was far better before and we had good people with knowledge and good attitude.

Dislikes

People do not have knowledge and they are just there because they have good relations. Also when you have good knowledge it gives you stability and less insecurity, humbleness which most of the people lack here.
