Amazon work life balance policy and work culture are the best one.

Never get into Hr and customer support domains, I have seen people are still at L2 level even after 5+ tenured. Only tech and AWS support domains are best with salaries. Promotions are based on JDIs for most of the departments. Extremely Low compensation.

Amazon is a very good company but Third party employees are not feel safe due to contracting and third party employees growth is very very low

Working at Amazon is the best thing that can happen to anyone. Whether it's a fresher or experienced individual, really doesn't matter. Particular about AGI-DS department in Amazon is worst, there are no promotions, less hike percentage, full of risk and privacy restrictions. I suggest do not join this department. Try to get a job in another department in Amazon
