Management doesn't care about you. End of the it's just false hopes and they take actions to meet their bell curve. Amazon is not what it used to be 5-6 years ago.

You are reading trusted reviews. Keep reading to find out more about
Amazon.
Except for the fact it's a remote job and you have some flexibility in terms of dressing etc. I didn't find any.

You don't learn anything here. The management keeps changing every alternate month, promotions are basis perceptions, which changes everytime your leadership changes. Most promotions are done basis politics, hence we struggle to achieve numbers and keep chasing the same throughout the year.
Only L2s to L5s work, everyone else justincrease work rather than support. All works above L5 are delegated to L4 and L5s including L8 review documents. Even though you are on the top 7% for the last few years in the entire India stack, your hikes aren't good, neither do you see any good feedback on forte or have any conversations on promotions.
They do not consider scores when promoting, however scores are considered for development plans.
It's all politics with no work-life balance and you end up clearing thousands of spam emails every day. I recommend anyone to not join amazon at least in CS departments....Read More
