The best part about Ahmedabad University is that it offers you the opportunity to revisit the University atmosphere. You will come across so many moments where you will feel nostalgic and remember your own student life. For this reason alone I recommend anyone to work at a University.

Dislikes

Following are the major disadvantages. - Highly unpredictable, unplanned and uncertain work environment. - No work-life balance. Though no one directly asks you to stay back but since you don't want to spill over your work to the upcoming week, you end up working on weekends. So the '5 days working' phrase exists only on paper. Pleas e don't apply if you want a less stressful job. - No team structure. 2-3 member team is called a department/function! <mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;"> - No job security</mark>. Specially if you are at a senior position. - No system to recognize your contributions. Hence no transparent appraisal process.
