Acko has taken up initiatives that show how much it values all the employees and considers everyone family. They have launched a benefit for every employee And their families that if anyone god forbid is tested positive for Covid-19, they would take up all the expenses and get them institutional facilities from Taj group, Lemon tree, oyo rooms and get them In house covid test, ambulance facilities and treatment with Apollo hospital. Its a great initiative and it shows how important every employee and their families are. They locked down their office 10days before lockdown was announced to keep employees safe. I think being a part of Acko is an honour. Its fast paced and challenging. Nothing that bothers me till now. It has been great.

Work Details

Acko has come up with me time from 1pm to 2pm every day so people get sometime to eat. Relax. They encourage not keeping meetings over the weekend. They also have no meeting thursday when second half is devoted only to work and no meeting is blocked.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
