Abbott has a very open culture with excellent work-life balance. During the covid pandemic, we were working from home until august end with no pay cuts.

Dislikes

The company is into its exponential growth phase so job security is an issue. Increments are basic (8 to 9%) just like other companies.

Company cares for its employees, There is a cohesive atmosphere that exists between various departments. Performing employees are motivated well and promoted to take higher responsibilities. Organization pays you well and all the needs are taken care of.

Company is number driven . While performance is the key to sustenance, undue pressure leads to emotional burnout .

I was unfortunate to have managers like Abm,zbm who encouraged having sales by doing unethical practices. Zonalmanagers of west cardiology divison made us do illigial practices which lead me to leave the job.
