Where I can study BIM course in Chennai?
🌟 Seven years of experience and a new crossroads!
For the past 7️⃣ years, I’ve been working as a mechanical site engineer, gaining hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. It has been an incredible journey, but I’ve realized that this path no longer aligns with my career aspirations.
💭 Now, I’m exploring a potential transition into design engineering by pursuing BIM training. However, I’ll admit, it’s a daunting step! The thought of starting from the bottom again and the possibility of a significant salary reduction has me feeling uncertain.
✨ I’m reaching out to my network for advice and guidance. Should I take the leap and invest in further studies to pivot into design engineering? Or should I explore other paths where I can leverage my site engineering expertise? like QA/QC
Your insights would mean a lot to me! Drop your thoughts or share your experiences in the comments. Let’s connect and grow together!

Stuck from 2.6 years without hike and promotion
I have been working at my current organization for 2.6 years and started with a CTC of ₹8 lakh, which has remained unchanged since my joining. During this period, I have not received any promotions or salary hikes, which has made me question whether I should wait for growth within the company or explore external opportunities.I am hopeful of getting a promotion in June this year, but I am unsure if it’s worth waiting for. Here’s what I am considering:1. Stay and wait for the promotion: There’s a...
I'm getting a good offer after joining a company. It's been 10 days only . Can i leave it?
I recently joined a new company, and within 10 days, I received a more attractive offer from another company. Can I resign without serving the notice period? Would declining any salary and relieving letter (Experience Letter) it easier for the company to agree to my departure?
Salary Expectation!
Hey everyone,I need some advice! What would be a fair CTC for a software developer with 4 years and 4 months of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and intermediate skills in Angular? This is for roles in Noida/Gurugram. Would love to hear your thoughts to get a realistic idea. Thanks in advance!
Backstabbing Colleague
So, there’s this colleague who seems to be going behind my back. They’re emailing the line manager and complaining about everything I do, decisions, situations, even my work. It feels like they’re keeping tabs on me just to criticize. What’s the best way to deal with someone like this? Should I confront them or just keep doing my thing?
