a project manager
Hey, Iam a complete fresher out of college (0 yoe, 0 internship experience). I landed a full time project manager role at an Ed-tech company. They offering me 20k per month and is completely WFH. Should i ask them for to raise a bit after 2 months of working ? What can i expect in future if iam switching this job after 6 months. Will next company give me compensation based on this one or else by their industry standards ? Am i literally f*ked up with career or is it ok to start with 20k ?

20k for a fresher in a project management role especially WFH is a decent start but yeah after 2 months you can totally ask for a raise if you prove your value. Whats your plan for learning in this role?

20k sounds a little on the lower side but WFH and a full time position is a good start. After a few months if you deliver results you should push for that raise.

Starting with 20k is normal for a fresher and after 6 months of experience you'll have a much stronger bargaining chip

20k as a fresher is honestly almost insulting especially with WFH. Its the bare minimum and youre being underpaid but if youre okay with being undervalued then go for it.🙄

That’s barely even pocket change for a project manager but at least you are WFH, so you can enjoy your underpaid greatness from the comfort of your couch 😂

20K WFH as a fresher isn’t the worst but it’s definitely on the lower side for a PM role
