Techie worked 14 hours a day, got a Rs 7.5 Cr promotion, but...

I’ve been working at a small startup for the past 3 years, with just 3 other employees and my boss. I sit right in front of her, and over time, we became close, almost like siblings. I automated a lot of my tasks, so my work became pretty straightforward...I just input some variables here and there, and I’m done. Over the last year, my boss started asking me how I did all of that, and she wanted to learn it herself. Since we were so friendly, I didn’t think much of it and happily taught her everything I knew. This morning, she sat me down and told me that to cut costs, she needed to let me go and take over my role. She asked if I’d be willing to do a once a year consulting gig to check her work. I didn’t really know how to respond. She said it kindly, so I stayed calm and matched her tone, but now I feel like I’ve made a mistake, and I’m left without a job.

I trained my manager and now she no longer needs me.

Dozens of people with pristine history and exceeds rating that took parental or medical leave and got laid off. I didn’t even know this was legal.

A lot of people who devoted 8-10 years to the company with multiple AE ruthlessly axed!

Also, I have experience in performance testing using JMeter. In my current organization I am getting 21 LPA with 2.5 years completed. past 7-8 months trying hard to get placed. gave 7 interviews. 3 cleared fully(even got congratulations mail) . Sadly In that 2 are not responding even mc HR not picking call or msg. 1 offer left is non-tech Business Development Associate at a startup in Noida.
- 6 montths internship - 15k + variable ~15k
- ppo with 6-9 LPA 
- joining next month(march)
what should i do? Should i wait for another chances in tech or move on with this offer and try while working with the startup.

If i wait another 2-3 months i will be competing with 2025 passouts.

my skills-Java, Springboot-hibernate, APIs, Angular(basic), Azure-DevOps, K8s, Docker, Prom-Grafana stack.
