Stuck with Low Salary!
Hi All,
Need your suggestions / advice :
I had joined an MNC 6 years back as Fresher with salary of 3.18 LPA.
In last 6 years, got 2 promotions and currently working as Team Lead with 10LPA.
I am not satisfied with salary and somehow feel it's not appreciating my efforts with such low salary.
How to change mindset for switching jobs? Or what should be done?

Don't worry, you're not alone! Many of us have been there. Feeling underpaid can be frustrating, but it's time to break free from that cycle. What specific steps are you taking to improve your current situation?

Are you truly ready for a change, or are you just seeking a quick fix ?
But before making a switch consider your long-term goals and whether a job switch aligns with your career aspirations.

Should be an ideal time to switch now since you are prepping away towards your first managerial position. Trust me its only a matter of 1 interview and you’ll be back in the game. Start applying

Calculate your risk
Is there any dependency on you ?
Got emergency funds ? To survive without salary for at least 6 months
Evaluate your skills (that you can sell easily now days) or start upgrading
Create resume
Start building networks with like-minded people (who work in the same roles) and ask them for referrals.
Try it for 2, 3 weeks
And Quit from your company and comfort zone.

Bro, if you feel stuck, consider exploring other companies that offer better compensation or upskilling to take on roles that align with your growth.

I am going to be honest; in terms of compensation, it is bad.
I am not aware of your skills and company, but you should change your job.

I am also stuck in same situation. I am getting calls but getting rejected with the notice period of 90 days set by these big service-based MNCs. Currently thinking whether should I quit or wait for an offer letter.

When the company didn't value my contribution and thought ...

Job Offer Dilemma
I’m in a situation and need some guidance.I have a job offer with:CTC: 9.4 LPA fixed + 21% variable = 11.4 LPA total.Location: Chennai (not ideal for me).Another opportunity is in the pipeline, with a more suitable location, but the expected CTC is around 9.4 LPA, which is significantly lower than the first offer. To add to the dilemma, the HR of the second company feels that asking for 12 LPA (considering my 9.4 LPA fixed offer) is too high. How would you approach this decision?
