Well I'm an atheist so I don't think there is a plan. It all lies with you how you move ahead with a rejection. Unfortunately with most companies in India Interviews are taken to reject candidates rather than hiring them.
There are very few companies that close the loop.
A rejection could have many reasons. Skill and role mis-match , salary expectation, experience levels etc. So i don't worry about those rejections as they are non controllable variables.
But a rejection where I've not been able to answer few questions regarding my expert area are the ones that can help me to grow my thought process and i cherish them.
PS: i recently went back to market after 16 years in my job and it wasn't easy in the start but it's okay , ultimately I was able to crack few interviews hurdled with many rejections as well.

But for the "buy out" to happen, HR needs something officially written from my manager that I do...

I have a crush on a coworker who's higher up and earns more😅We work in different departments, and while she is two years younger than me, she belongs to a higher pay grade of employees who earn almost twice as much as I do, although we do almost similar work. Do you have any tips on how to approach her without making things awkward?
