Should I switch

Hey peeps, I just finished my probationary period(6 months) in a company which I was placed thru college campus, My office is too far from my home it is 24 kms+24 kms up and down. The bangalore traffic is too hectic takes 3 hours of travel each day and my working hours are 9 hours which sums up to 12 hours per day. My work is pretty good but my Boss always demotivates the team and blames us for not doing any work. My problem in the current company is : minimal growth, travelling 5 days a week, after probationary then 2 years of bond to work there else pay compensation of 2L. Keeping in mind the job market rn. 1)Should I still continue working at the same place if they give me hybrid (that's available for other teams) 2) quit immediately and then look for a job. 3) stay here and keep applying until I receive any other job then switch. Pls guide me am sooo confused 🤔

If you quit do you have savings to sustain yourself while job hunting?

You should change your job even if they give you hybrid mode What's your call on this?

The commute and toxic environment are real stress factors. If hybrid work is an option, maybe it’s worth considering for now to buy some time. What kind of roles are you eyeing outside?

I totally get your frustration with the commute and the toxic boss. If the hybrid option is on the table, it could help reduce the travel burden. But if growth is limited, maybe it's time to explore other options. Have you started applying yet?

The commute is killer and the 2-year bond is a bit concerning. If hybrid work is available for other teams, maybe you could negotiate it for yourself to get some relief. But if you're feeling demotivated, it might be worth applying elsewhere too.

If hybrid is an option, it’s definitely worth considering to save time and sanity. But if growth opportunities are minimal, it might be time to start looking for a better fit. Have you started networking or applying for new roles?

The commute is a huge issue, and the toxic atmosphere with your boss sounds draining. If hybrid work is an option, I’d say take it to reduce the travel time. In the long run, though, you should definitely consider applying for new opportunities.
