Seeking Advice on Repeated Rejections for Data Analyst Role at S&P Global
Hi Everyone,
I’ve been applying to S&P Global for the Data Analyst/Data Researcher 1 role for the past two years, because it is my dream company where i would really like to work but unfortunately, I haven’t received any positive feedback. My applications keep getting rejected, and I’m unsure of the reason.
I hold a BE in Mechanical Engineering and currently work in a data-centric role. Could this rejection be due to my designation or the fact that I haven’t pursued a master’s degree yet?

Two years of applying is a long time, but it shows your dedication to your dream company. Have you considered networking with current or former S&P Global employees to gain insights?

I think it's unlikely that your Mechanical Engineering background is the issue.
Many data analysts come from non traditional backgrounds. Focus on highlighting your transferable skills, like data analysis and problem solving.

How to Deal with a Chatty Colleague?
Okay, so I have this colleague sitting right in front of me, and he doesn’t stop talking all day. I’ve tried putting on headphones, but this guy still waves his hands in front of my face like, “Oye Oye, ek baat sun !” Leaving my desk isn’t an option because my work would suffer, and there’s no extra space in the office to relocate. How do I politely deal with this without causing awkwardness or making it seem like I’m being rude?
