Salary Negotiation
Hi All, I am pretty much confused I need your valuable suggestion. I have 2 offers in hand one from Amazon L4 another from pwc Team lead senior associate. Both of them offer the same compensation but variable pay is more on Amazon. Which offer I should choose and go ahead with please suggest. Current CTC 6.0 LPA and offer received details below-
1. Amazon L4 ( IC role) - CTC 11.5 LPA( fixed) + 5 LPA signing bonus+ 40 ESOP
2. PWC - Senior Associate (Team lead) - CTC 14.2 LPA +12% Variables

Both are solid offers! Are you leaning toward IC or team management roles for your long-term career?

Amazon’s signing bonus and ESOPs could offer better long-term financial gains. Do you see yourself growing there?

Have you considered the work-life balance at both companies? PWC could involve more client-facing pressure, while Amazon have demanding workloads. Before pursuing MBA i was a part of Amazon.

Do you have a preference for tech vs consulting? Amazon could provide better growth in tech, while PWC offers consulting exposure.

Stuck at low salary
I have been working in the same company for more than 3 years with no hike. Got hike this year in single digit which is again frustrating. Earning 9.5lpa with 7.5years of experience chandigarh feels too low. Work is only of Manual Testing tied with the role of BA. Planning to move towards python automation but need to work from home due to family conditions.
Please suggest are there any companies offering wfh with good salary hike and how can I increase my chance to get hike more than 80% if I m planning to switch within this year?

Night shift allowance
In my current organization iam getting 9lpa and is day shift. Now iam switching to another company with a package of 15lpa(13 fixed, 2 variable). This is a wfh option but is a night shift job and when asked about night shift allowance they said there will not be any extra night shift allowance. I have experience of 5.6years. Is what iam getting paid is less?
