Anyone working at EXL or TCS? Is PAN card number mandatory for processing of job applications at first level. I've got multiple calls from TCL and EXL's staffing partners "CAYS corp" and "Amiable services" respectively from their HR representatives. Is this a scam or asking for PAN and birthday is mandatory for screening?

PAN card details usually come up during the later stages, especially for salary processing or background checks. But still, better to verify with the company directly, bro.

I've been asked for PAN card info before, especially when the job gets closer to offer stage. But yes, always be cautious about sharing such details too early.
Any red flags in the communication?

A PAN number might be requested for background checks, but I’d suggest reaching out to TCL/EXL directly for clarity on whether it’s necessary at this stage.

Best to be cautious. Have you done any background check yet?
