I need some guidance on my next career move. I have 6 years of experience as a Process Automation Developer, primarily working with Ignio, coding in Groovy and PowerShell. Despite my experience, I’m highly underpaid. even freshers earn more than I do.

To improve my prospects, I upskilled myself in Data Engineering, but I’m struggling to crack interviews due to a lack of hands-on experience. I clear the first round but fail the second.

While searching for Groovy-related jobs, I noticed more opportunities in DevOps. I’m also receiving more recruiter calls for DevOps than Data Engineering.

Now, I’m at a crossroads:
1️⃣ Should I pivot to DevOps, where my current skills seem to align better?
2️⃣ Or should I focus on Data Analytics, gain experience, and then transition to Data Engineering later?

Would love to hear from those who have been in a similar situation! What’s the best way forward?

Right after my BCom, I took a service advisor role at Honda for ₹7K due to urgency. Later, I moved to a gas station for ₹10K, handling all kinds of work beyond office tasks.

My breakthrough came when I joined as an order management specialist in Bangalore for ₹22K. To advance, I self-learned Excel, Power BI, coding, and automation, earning a specialist role. I also completed my MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain online. After four years, my salary reached ₹35K. 
With management’s support, I transitioned to a procurement specialist role at ₹45K + ₹11K (night shift), later growing to ₹58K + ₹11K by optimizing processes.

Now, I’m preparing for an HR round and planning to ask for a 55% hike. Am I on the right track? How can I accelerate my career growth?

I have been working in a paint company for the last 2 years but am not satisfied with the work profile and responsibilities. 

I'm planning for a career switch in the next 1 year to finance with zero financial knowledge and background. I heard it is high paying and job security is good.

Can anyone please suggest the paths to me. 

I just have an idea how to go for it. I'm sharing here. Since I am 26, I don't wanna take any risk, atleast any calculated risk further.

Not Satisfied with my current job role. Seeking Advice for a career switch to finance.

I recently signed a contract for 2 years, I'm currently having 2yrs experience in ERP implementation / Consultant and getting around 2.75 LPA. After signing a contract only they started giving training on Microsoft D365 software, where I can work on Business Central / Finance and Operations / Power BI / DevOps or any other softwares. So I can get good knowledge on various softwares, where I can grow myself and get better opportunities in the future.. 

I'm only thinking about is that contract worth ?

I have got an offer of 34 LPA from TCS and Capgemini .
I have 11 years of experience , Azure Developer.

Can you please guide / suggest which company should I join .
I am confused since both are offering the  same CTC .

I am on my 4th job that I just joined a month ago 
I am 20
My first job was 6 months internship 
Second job was 2 months internship and 8 months permanent 
Third job was 6 months permanent (they turned the team into freelancers and tbh I felt the company won't last long)
Now the thing is I have been wanting a break for a long time not being able to enjoy stuff really effecting me mentally my friends go out have fun when I am stuck working not just that companies I have worked for so far made me work on Sunday, said sat will be off than switched up later I also want to learn more stuff not being able to while working but I feel like the current company I am working was is paying me well (8lpa), it's a senior role and WFH if I leave another won't come by if I don't leave than how will I learn and be able to get more opportunities in future (and the biggest point is that I am feeling suicidal cause of some stuff in my life) not sure what to do plz help 😥
