Need advice on choosing the profile
I'm working for procurement now, aiming to boost my career growth in terms of financial and grades. I'm inclined towards project manager or business development (looking at few of the professionals having good aspects in the above mentioned). Should I change my domain to project management role or continue in procurement ?
By changing the jobs, can we increase our salaries just like IT folks do ? Incase that is not possible, then I'm ready to change my domain and upskill so that I can boost my career.
Would request you to kindly throw some light on the same.
Thanks in advance !!

Yes, it is possible to get a better salary by changing jobs, and a product manager role does seem like a good idea. What kind of companies or industries are you considering for this transition?

A Team Lead
Hmm...Upskilling in project management (PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications) or business development (sales techniques, CRM tools like Salesforce, or negotiation skills) can open doors to roles in your desired domain. It’s also worth considering your current transferable skills from procurement that align with your new domain.

Yaar, project management ka kaam toh full-on challenge lagta hai, lekin growth bhi milegi. Tumhe kis part mein sabse zyada interest hai – team lead karna ya deadlines manage karna?
