Looking for Active, Hands-On Problem-Solving Careers
I love the puzzle-solving side of computer science troubleshooting complex systems and digging into obscure issues but I can’t stand sitting at a desk all day. I’m not into coding or software building; I’d rather work with my hands, like fixing cars or repairing appliances.
I’d love a job that’s active, involves moving around or visiting sites, and lets me work on real world problems. Desk work is fine in small doses, but I thrive when I’m interacting with systems (or people) directly. Bonus if working nights is normal I’m way more productive after dark.
I’m also trying to break out of a rut and find something more engaging and less isolating. Any ideas for jobs that mix technical problem-solving with hands-on work? Let me know!

The ever leading topic of notice period
I am working currently as a team lead for hcl and since idiotically I didn't switch any companies from start 2019 till now, I have a measly ctc of 4.3 lpa.I got an offer accepting 8lpa , but they are demanding to join in 15 days. And hcltech, being the company it is, is having 90 days notice period, negotiable to 60 days only.Initial negotiation with my current manager and the new company hr didn't go over that well, I am in a bind now.Any suggestions?
