Is there any industry standard for salary hike % while switching from one company to other? Most of the times heard HR saying that 30% is the max hike that they can give considering Industry standard..is it True?

No standards are there when asking hike. Start with min 50% and than see the reaction of HR. Reduce it accordingly

The Hike depends on the profile you are going for. So what specific industry and role are you targeting for your job switch ?

Dude a 30% hike is often considered standard in many industries, it can vary based on factors like role, experience, and company policy. In some cases, companies may offer more, especially for in-demand skills or senior roles, while others may be more conservative.

Always mention your ask in the beginning, if you are expecting 40 or 50% then do mention that. If they are ok with it they would go forward with the interview, this is a good way to gauge what they can offer
