I got a job offer but...

Hello all, I am working in call center from 3 years. Today I got an offer from a big company. But they asking me for re-leaving letter and about notice period duration. The problem is if I make a spot resignation can I get re-leaving letter suddenly or do I have to wait for some days ? I don't want to let this offer go so I don't want to wait for 30days notice period. Please do tell me when someone get re-leaving letter ?

Dont worry on the releaving letter part Usually after your last working day you will get all your letters within 45 days, And its the practice followed in every conpany India. Just relax and join the other company without any stress

Spot resignation is risky. Your current employer might not issue a re-leaving letter immediately. It can take days or even weeks, and if they don’t give it, you could burn bridges. It's not worth rushing out.

If the new job is great, just do it. Companies are unlikely to wait around for you to finish your notice period anyway. Worst-case scenario, you delay the letter...but your future matters more than playing it safe with a call center job.

I get the temptation, but if you don’t get that re-leaving letter, you’ll have trouble with future employers. It’s better to finish the notice period and leave on good terms. Don't jeopardize your reputation.

Honestly, take the offer, even if it means a bit of a hassle with the re-leaving letter. Sometimes, it’s more important to secure your future than to worry about a few weeks of waiting.

You’re risking your professional image if you do a spot resignation. No company will want you if you bail without proper notice. It’s better to wait and leave with a clean record.

Spot resignation might get you out fast, but it’s short-sighted. The re-leaving letter is crucial for any future reference checks. Take the time, finish the notice, and leave with everything intact.

I didn't get your question. Did your current company agree to relieve you without serving notice period? If not, are you just planning to abscond? Final doubt is, your new company appointed you based on your experience or are you joining as a fresher?
