Hi everyone. My name is Rohit. I have graduated from bcom and I've been working as a 3D animator for a year now. The creative industry is quite unstable and not worth it so i am switching my field. Data analyst and mis or digital marketing both seem quite great option. I don't know the overall scope and salary about thi field. So i want your guidance in choosing a better career path. I want to do something technical and something that don't require investing in few year course. So can you guys tell me data analyst or mis and digital marketing what would be a better choice. Or is there something else I can do?

Agar ‘technical’ karna hai toh Data Analyst or MIS, but if you enjoy convincing people to buy things they don’t need, digital marketing is. What sounds more fun?

[an educator](username) definitely data analyst. But most people did btech. Will my career be compensated because of my degree?

Rohit, if you enjoy working with numbers and making data-driven decisions, Data Analyst or MIS would be a great pick...Digital marketing is more creative and strategy-focused. What excites you more, playing with data or running marketing campaigns?

[a product manager](username) I would stick with data. I just left creative field. Since digital marketing is creative, I don't wanna join it a second time.

If you want a career shift without years of studying, Data Analytics has great short-term certification options (Google DA, SQL, Python basics). Have you looked into them?

[a software developer](username) yes. I also prefer data analyst as it is a more technical field. But I've seem many profiles that guys who are data analyst has done btech Or bsc. But i have bcom. So it keeps daunting me if my salary Or overall career scope could be compensated or not? What do you think?

Creative field unstable? Bro, welcome to the ‘stable but overworked’ side. On a serious note, if you like problem-solving, Data Analytics is a great switch

[coderji](username) I've had that overworking hours too😂. But animation field is in a huge downfall and there aren't much opportunities available for them. So i would prefer a bit stable path.

MIS is more about managing data & reports, while a Data Analyst role involves deep analysis, visualization & decision-making. If you want something more technical without a long course, Data Analytics bootcamps could be a good fit. Have you checked those?

Digital Marketing is evolving rapidly, but it’s not as ‘technical’ as Data Analytics. If you like trends, content, and consumer behavior, marketing could be fun! Ever considered learning Google Ads or SEO?
