Hi folks!!
Want one advise for my early years in corporate. I am 23 yrs old and I am working in BofA for couple of years now and this is my first job. I have deep interest and skills to excel in core finance role (investment management) but the role at BofA is completely unrelated to it.

To prove my metal, I have cleared CFA level 1&2 in my first attempt with top percentile (+MBA) but kind of stuck for right opportunity. Can anyone advise how should I approach to making a shift to my desired work (asset mgt)?

Sure, you have people around, flatmates, coworkers, friends....and family is just a call away. But still, it can get incredibly quiet, and sometimes the noise inside your head becomes overwhelming.

How do you cope with that?

P.S. I live with family now, so there's always some drama going on....But I’ve lived alone before, so I know what it feels like.

Also, I’m not sure if this is what loneliness feels like, or if it’s something closer to depression?

6 months ago, I switched from my previous job to my current one with a 40% salary hike. At that time, it seemed like a great opportunity, but now, I am seriously considering my decision.
My previous job had,
1. A European MNC team with excellent support and work culture
2. Good Time for my family & personal life
3. Flexible timing & permanent work-from-home
4. 5 days working with proper work-life balance

Now, in my current Indian company:
1. 12-hour workdays, with additional work on Saturdays (despite a 5-day work policy)
2. No proper training
3. Toxic work culture, where I get scolded daily due to a lack of training
4. Hardly any time for my kids and parents
5. Started my health issues

My previous company is willing to take me back with a 10% hike on my last salary. Given the work-life balance, supportive environment, and long-term growth prospects I had there, I am thinking of returning.
*It is not going to impact on my monthly expenses.*
Would you recommend going back?

Hey, I just resigned from a role because it made me.do.work I was not hired for.Rather there was nothing technical about it and I am a guy from technical background. I'm getting calls from other companies but how to professionally answer the question "Why did you resign without any offer" or "why are you serving notice period without any offer in hand"
 

Any suggestions from people with prior experience or IT professionals is highly appreciated 🙂

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation.

My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

Hi I am working as a full stack Architect (14 yeo) and Following is my CTC. 
Please help me calculate in hand salary and choose New or OLD regime. I have been doing Old regime till last year with a salary of 48 CTC. Now post revision it increased to 56L CTC effective March 1st. 

My PF alone will cover 80C
Also have additional 50000 contribution in NPS
My HRA is around 25K per month (300000)
Health insurance for family 28000
Mom's medical expense 30000 (No personal (Have medical complications) or corporate insurance unfortunately)
I have a home loan however its under construction, so not eligible yet for tax benefits

Help me choose New Regime or Old Regime for my salary revision
