While there are several challenges at Trinet, some colleagues are great to interact and collaborate with, making the work environment a bit manageable.

Dislikes

Working at Trinet has highlighted several areas of concern. The HR management seems to exist only in name, as employee feedback is neither taken seriously nor kept confidential. Instead, it is directly shared with directors, leading to a culture of intimidation rather than support. The Product Director, in particular, has a history of threatening employees while favoring those who praise him. Feedback about him is passed along by the US-based people manager, which is completely unacceptable and further enables his behavior. He shows little respect for colleagues, constantly interferes, and justifies his actions by claiming to follow a so-called "red book," documenting everything unnecessarily. It’s baffling how he was chosen for this role. Meanwhile, many directors in the US, as well as the Indian leadership, lack vision and engage in excessive micromanagement, creating an unstable and frustrating work environment. Despite these issues, a few colleagues are great to work with, making the experience slightly more bearable. If salary is your only concern, this place might seem like an option. However, if you value a healthy work environment, it's better to look for other opportunities, as you will likely lose your peace of mind and feel directionless. The work timings are also quite demanding, requiring employees to be available from morning till night, with just a few hours of break in the afternoon—provided there are no mandatory meetings scheduled by management.
