REC deals and specializes in providing good quality power conditioning solutions to customers. We provide UPS, Inverters, Stabilisers and Batteries meeting customer requirements. We specialize in providing turnkey projects where integration of interiors, electrical wiring, airconditioning, Power Conditioning/ UPS and networking are involved. In 1999 Ram Engineering and Controls (REC) was established with a view to provide service backup for users of UPS, Inverters, Home UPS and Servo Stabilisers. In 2001 REC started manufacturing “Arun UPS” range of Line Interactive UPS of upto 1 Kva in the year 2001. In 2002 the capacity increased to 3 Kva Line Interactive UPS. In 2002 REC delivered about 600 Nos of UPSs to “Materials Organisation (MOV), Eastern Naval Command, Vishakhapatnam”. In 2004 the Online UPS product range “Arun Pro” started with a capacity of 3 Kva. In 2006 the Manufacturing facility at “Industrial Development Area, Cherlapally, Hyderabad” was commissioned with a built up area of 15,000 Sft. It is by far one of the larger plants involved in manufacture of Power Backup Equipment in Andhra Pradesh. In 2006 REC executed first line of orders for replacement of Gyro Power supplies for Indian Navy and by providing “Import Substitution Equipment” for use in Frigates and Submarines in “Eastern Naval Command” and “Naval dock Yard” Vishakhapatnam. In 2010 REC executed for the first time a Turnkey project of large magnitude involving Civil, Interiors, Electrical, Airconditioning and Networking to customer satisfaction at the now world famous “College of Defence Management, Hyderabad’.
