Indian govt reiterates it will buy 100% of pigeonpeas produced by farmers at MSP

NAFED procures 1.79 lakh tonnes of mustard at MSP so far
- Bulk of mustard procurement at MSP has been carried out in Haryana with over 1.61 lakh tonnes purchased.
- Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, and Uttar Pradesh also reported mustard procurement of 11,743 tonnes, 5,893 tonnes, 1,044 tonnes, and 16.3 tonnes, respectively.
- Mustard prices remain below MSP levels across most mandis, leading to ongoing procurement in various producing states.

Groundnut purchases at MSP tops 13.38 lakh tonnes

Price Of Food Corporation Rice Cut By Rs 550 Per Quintal Under Open Market Sale Scheme

- The revision aims to enhance food security, support states in fulfilling welfare scheme obligations, and promote ethanol production.
